Fighting for Prosperity

Travis Clark joined the Republican Party in 2010 to learn more about the political party that African Americans once belonged to but now criticize. He was once a Democratic voter before joining the Republican Party. Travis quickly noticed that Republicans had a problem reaching out to urban voters due to misinformation spread through messaging. Travis Clark wants to share his story about growing up in the 4th Congressional District of Wisconsin as a member of the U.S. Congress.

Travis Clark started meeting with business and political leaders to discuss the lack of opportunities in America’s urban communities. Travis Clark also met with professional athletes and urban entertainers who have experienced the struggles of growing up in those underrepresented communities like Milwaukee.

TIME TO CHANGE THE GAME

Travis Clark believes that full independence from political party affiliation is the key to our political rescue and social survival. For decades, black Americans have automatically voted for Democrats. And most urban areas are governed by Democrats. Many of those cities have high crime rates and poor education, with black people being the poorest. Many organizations socially encourage black people to follow their political agenda, even if they disagree, according to Travis Clark. Travis Clark opposes groups that use black America's suffering to further their goals. It is time for Black America to take control of their own agenda and change the game.
